抄録

1. Examples are cited of the striking progress made in various fields of the milling technical sphere of sapan during the past ten years and explanation given of the various aspects in milling technique thaf should be given further study for improvement.<BR>2. Especially emphasis was placed upon the need to conduct further research on the still unsolved important problem of Cu-Zn separation in complex sulfide ores.<BR>3. Correlation of the 3Ms (Mining, Milling and Metallurgy) as an illustration of which examples were cited of the contribution made by the inter-related progress of Minina and Millina. and. Millina and Metallurgy, respectlvely.<BR>4. Unless Cu-Zn separation can be improved above its present confines by means of of the recent advancement in milling technique, the desired results of beneficiation should be achieved thru a combination of Milling and Metallurrgy.<BR>5. Strong emphasis was placed upon the complete recovery of the mineral values from the overall standpoint, to be achieved by handling the products as Cu-Zn bulk concentrates in the milling operations and selecting the most appropriate methods adaptable to their respective characteristics at the central smelter, namely, (a) Fluo-Solid Roasting Process (b) Selective Sulphatization Process (Acid Lixiviation)(c) Selective Sulphatizing Roasting Process (Water Lixiviation)
