説明

The deposits of Okuki mine are geologically classified as cupriferous pyritic bedded deposits, and are formed by many deposits of different magnetude, such as, from 10 to more than 10 thousand tons (in the area), which has the strike length of 1.3 km and width of 0.3 km.<BR>Many high grade portion of this large deposits in the area were mined out in the past.<BR>All that was discovered among them were so small that thay are now mined unsystematically. The southern deposits, 0.1 km. south of the main area, and some places around the above mentioned mined parts, they are both mined systematically. In some goafs filled with old waste (0.8-3% Cu), which is taken out as ore by systematic method at present.
