抄録

Major purpose of the fluidizing roasting of complex sulphide areis to extract copper, zinc and minor valuable components as muchas possible from the cinder. High extraction of metallic components can be attained by the precise control of roasting conditions available in so-called “Fluo-Solids Techniques”. The effects of variables much influencial in the fluidizing roasting, such as gas composition, roasting temperature, residence time, charging rate, etc. were discussed in this paper. We also could obtain the procedure to set up the optimum conditions in the sulphatizing roasting of pyrrhotite and other metallurgical wastes, suitable for the extraction of copper and zinc. This procedure to fix the optimum conditions in the fluidizing roasting would be able to be applied to other sulphide minerals.
