抄録

In this paper we have studied the characteristics of the vibration of winding ropes in normal operation in vertical shafts, by measuring it and comparing the results with the value obtained through theoretical calculation. Our oscillogram with measured results on it shows at the same time thevibration of a winding rope and of a cage, the speed-diagram, the current of a direct current motor, the drum revolution, the motor revolution and the period of time.<BR>Some results we have obtained through our researches are as follows;<BR>1) The maximum vibration of a winding rope in a vertical shaft when the drum speed becomes constant can safely be estimated to be 1.3 times as large as the maximum acceleration of the drum.<BR>2) The vibration of a winding rope amount to the maximum in mechanical braking. This maximum vibration must be estimated to be 1.5-2.0 times as large as the drum-acceleration at that time.<BR>3) The shock absorber is hardly effective for reducing the vibration of a winding rope in normal operation.
