抄録

The adsorption mechanism of oleate ion on calcite and fluorite in alkaline solution has been investigated by means of measurements of adsorption and infrared spectra, chemical analysis and flotation tests.<BR>Oleate ion is adsorbed on the surface of calcite by the following exchange reaction, CaCO3+2C17H33COO-&=Ca (C17H33COO) 2+CO32-<BR>and no surface saturation in growth of calcium oleate film is evident.<BR>On the other hand, the adsorption of oleate ion on fluorite surface occurs without exchange for fluoride ion on fluorite surface and is restricted to the bimolecular layer.<BR>Although the adsorption mechanism of oleate ion on calcite or fluorite differs from that of scheelite reported previously, there is no significant difference in change of floatability with oleate dosage or solution pH among them.
