抄録

There are many reports of nanoparticle synthesis under ultrasonic irradiation. Most of sonochemical syntheses of the nanoparticles have been carried out by using the ultrasonic frequency in the range from 20kHz to 40kHz, although the ultrasonic frequency is one of the important factors in the application of ultrasound. The effects of the ultrasonic frequency on the nanoparticle synthesis have not been clarified in detail till today. In this work, the ultrasonic frequency used here was 20kHz and 500kHz for nanoparticle preparation and the experimental temperature was 25℃. The TEM image of gold nanoparticles obtained under sonication with the frequency of 500kHz shows uniform distribution, but sonication with the frequency of 20kHz gives aggregates of gold nanop articles with the size of 100-200nm. The iron particles obtained with the frequency of 500kHz are the needle-like shape, while the iron compounds obtained with the frequency of 20kHz consist of the needle-like particles, and masses of particles. We will discuss about ultrasonic frequency effects on metal nanoparticle syntheses.
