Description
In this study, pure titanium and titanium alloy of implant are examined for mechanical properties. In particular, heat treatment of titanium surfaces is processed in atmospheric condition, and examined on fatigue properties of Giga-cycle with supersonic wave apparatus. The results obtained are as follows; 1) Conditions of heat treatment effect on Vickers hardness, and is appropriate for titanium in 723K, 5H. 2) Heat treatment makes fatigue strength of materials progress in more than 5%. 3) Mechanical properties with supersonic wave are applicable to relative evaluation on biological materials.
