抄録

The writers have measured the echo power from various targets. On the results of the measurement, they report following three items. (1) Some vessels had such characteristic as the echo power of them reduces with distance showing maximam and minimus values. They thought of the decision of these vessel's σ (the effective area) and H_e (the effective height). (2) On the rotating reflecters. (3) On the echo power of the sea clutter.
