Abstract

The heyday of the sailing crafts, as the principal means of sea transportation, had passed away long ago. Nevertheless, one will notice remarkable features of their revival as the training ships, after the world war II. Is there any reason to recommission them for traihing purpose, seeing from technical point of view. The author has observed some fundamental problems referring to his actual practice of sea going life.
