Abstract

<p>This paper was logically established on the base of the following two clues. Firstly, the author paid close attention on presence and feature of internship specially conducted by Chinese social science graduate students. Secondly, the author compared needs and feedbacks of both graduates and their employers. This paper was designed to illustrate the relationship between graduates’ internship experience and employment. Such relationship was positively confirmed by analyzing the results of series of surveys including questionnaires, interviews and investigations. Furthermore, although both graduates and their employers thought highly of internship experience, but different side held quite different points of view. Employers would be more willingly to see graduates had gained relevant techniques and qualities from past internship experiences. Comparatively quantity and diversification made more sense to graduates. Such huge distinction revealed different perspectives when graduates and employers looking at the meaning and worth of internship.</p>
