Description
The paper tries to shed light on a new development of political movement in Okinawa: Project Disagree. The project's aim is to put up resistance against the US-Japan military alliance and consequent buildup of the bases throughout Okinawa. Although the members do not refuse old methods of opposition, they do seek new and diverse actions against those who aim to build up the military bases in Okinawa. This paper explains the origin of the project as well as its actions in the past few years.
