Abstract

The National Land Agency created the Academic and Science City Development Plan in Nagoya Metropolitan Area in 1980’s. But the Academic and Science City were developed in only a part of the area, and the plan ended in around 2008. One of that reasons was the plan was not promoted as a national project. Another reason was that the system to advance the whole plan was not prepared. The remaining problem is land use in the area where development was planned but it could not be realized. Especially, land-use problem of remaining site of excavated soil will continue. And the effective land-use plan around interchange area should be examined.
