<p><tt>An accident happend to occur during the preparation af dimsylsodium. In arder to know the hazardous properties of reaOtion products from sodium hydride-DMSO dispersion. We have calculated heat of reation by using REITP-2 and have conducted from experimental estimatings by using DSC, ARC (accelerating rate calorimeter), Mk ⅢF Ballistic Vortar Test, Pressure Vessel Test. </tt><tt>As the results, We could not deteeted vulnerable propagatian of detonation and explosive power from DMSO solution of dimsylsodium. Thermal decomposion of the solution is not so violent, but it starts at lower temperature. When it should happen to decampase, it may have a hazards for eruption by releasing decomposed gases in the clased vessel. It may also have a hazards for violent combustion </tt><tt>by mixing the decomposed products with air.</tt></p>
