Description

The aqueous suspensions of microcrystalline cellulose (the mean diameter using the laser scattering method, approximately 3µm) were observed with the small-angle neutron scattering method. The scattering profiles were almost independent of the microcrystalline cellulose concentration and showed a fractal structure with a dimension of 2.2. The small-angle neutron scattering results from the internal structure of the cellulose particle.
