Abstract
A pulsed Ti:Al2O3 ring laser system injection seeded with a laser diode is presented. The Ti:Al2O3 laser generates single-frequency output with Fourier-limit temporal profiles. Temporal characteristics are systematically investigated, leading to a fact that the temporal stability of pulsed output is essentially determined by the fluctuation of the pump YAG laser output.
