We report the spectroscopic and experimental data of new laser channels of Pr3+ and Tm3+ ions in monoclinic tungstates. We discovered and identified a new one-micron laser action at 1.0223 µm of 1D23F3 transition of Pr3+ ions in monoclinic KY(WO4)2 crystal at room temperature. At cryogenic temperature, two-micron lasing of Tm3+ ions at wavelength of about 1.92 and 1.93 µm were excited in two sensitized crystals, KY(WO4)2:Er3+ and KGd(WO4)2:Er3+:Yb3+, respectively.
