説明

The 0.78–1.0 μm wavelength-tunable femtosecond soliton pulse generation is demonstrated using a fiber laser, periodically poled LiNbO3 and photonic crystal fibers (PCFs). The wavelengths of the generated pulses are varied continuously and monotonically simply by varying the fiber input power. The temporal widths of the generated pulses are about 55 and 94 fs for 0.6 and 2 m of PCFs, respectively. The generated pulses are pedestal-free clear pulses and the corresponding time-bandwidth products are about 0.38. Characteristics of generated soliton pulses are analyzed using the extended nonlinear Schrödinger equation and the numerical results are almost in agreement with the experimental ones. This system is very compact and useful for practical applications. When 2 m of PCF is used, generation of anti-stokes pulse at the shorter wavelength side of the pump pulse is observed.
