Abstract

Speedy and accurate positioning is important for mechatronics products. It is necessary for optimum design to analyze the combination of dynamics and servomechanisms. This paper describes the simulation program application for the linear slider. The simulation program considered charactristics of a mechanical structure, control system, and distributed forces. A multi-degree-of-freedom mechanical structure is easily modelled by FEM. The FEM model is joined to control transfer functions using this program. Analytical functions of this program are frequency response, transient response, and stability. Finally, we determine optimum sensor position and optimum control gain by this simulation.
