Abstract

A 6-years-old girl without deafness who was in good health until age 5.5 years when she had first syncopal attack in running. At six years old she had second syncopal attack for 20 minutes in dancing. Electrocardiogram taken on same day showed sinus arrythmia, wandering pacemaker and marked prolonged QT interval (QTc=0.7 second). Both electroencephalogram and serum electrolytes showed no abnormality.<br>At 6.5 years old she suddenly died with third syncopal attack in running.<br>Family history was not contributory.
