抄録

During the annual life cycle, the cotton aphid parasitizes more than one host plant in Fukushima Prefecture. Starting from Veronica persica, cotton aphids migrate to potato, then to cucumber and complete its cycle returning to Veronica persica. Transferring aphid from one host plants to others was done under the laboratory conditions, and their insecticide susceptibility was tested. Judging from the results, no noticeable change of the insecticide sensibility (LC50, LC95) of aphids on different host plants was recognized. The cotton aphid in Fukushima has highinsecticide susceptibility. High and low insecticids susceptible clones were selected from a population on Veronica persica. The clone which was transferred to potato showed low mortality rate, but that transferred to cucumber showed high. This tendency was almost the same in both high and low susceptible clones.
