Benign cementoblastoma is a mesoblastic-odontogenic tumor which has an increasing of cementum. This tumor had been called "true cementoma" by many workers. In 1973 Eversole first reported it by the name of benign cementoblastoma. Formerly, this tumor was considered to be a very rare odonogenic tumor, but the number of the reports on it is now increasing. Clinically, this tumor develops in the lower molar region of comparatively younger generation. This tumor usually presents a distinct region with characteristic radiographic and histologic appearances. Lately, we experienced a case of this tumor. The patient was a 12-year-old girl and a swelling as big as a thumb tip was found which had a clear border in her <765>^^^-| region in the oral examination. In pathology, this tumor was diagnosed as benign cementoblastoma.
