We have studied the self-estimation for the position of autonomous robot. It was carried out by typical template-matching method using a video camera. The detection of human as obstacles has been also studied. As the results, it was shown that the estimation for the position of robot and the recognition of existence of human would be able to do successfully and autonomously.
