抄録

The genetic variability within a natural population of hinoki (Chamaecyparis obtusa S. et Z.) was inves. tigated using two allozyme loci coding peroxidase (Pod) and glutamate oxaloace-tate-transaminase (Got) as genetic markers. Allele frequencies on four small plots (30×30m) at Aokigahara, Mt. Fuji were estimated and compared. The differences among them in genetic composition were recognized, clarifing the heterogeneous genetic structure within a population.
