抄録
The experiments were carried out for clarifying the relation between adenohypophyseal dysfunction and higher center of brain in exposure to noise. For the noise condition, 100 to 105 phon noise characterized by wide octave band spectrum was used, and the temperature in the cold as the general stress was -10±2°C. The rabbits were exposed to noise for 4 hours or to cold for 40 minutes. Thereafter, oxygen uptake, glucose consumption and lactic acid formation were determined in homogenates of telencephalon, diencephalon, mesencephalon, cerebellum, pons and myelencephalon.<br>As the results, in the noise condition, the disturbance of glycolysis of diencephalon was observed, but not in the cold condition.
