Abstract

The photon energy spectra, photon fluence, mean energy exposure of primary X-ray from diagnostic X-ray tube have been computed at a distance of 1 meter from target for a wide range of kVp and filtration. The computations are based upon Kramer's rule for differential bremsstrahlung spectra and Hettinger's experimental data for charactaristic K X-ray. It becomes clear that correlation for the thysical characteristic of radiation from X-ray tube and operating conditions. The aluminum transmission for computed radiations are good agreement with experimental values obtained under a variety of aperating conditions.
