Description

A move to acquire the certification of Environmental Management System, ISO14001, written by International Standardization Organization ( ISO ) is getting momentum in industries. In Daido Steel, a preparation for this has been made for three years beginning from collection of information on progress of ISO standardization, and Hoshizaki Plant obtained the ISO/DIS14001 certification in August of 1996. The process of the acquisition and outline of the environmental management system will be described in the report.
