Abstract

Erosion tests for SiO2-Al2O3 runner bricks with various Al2O3 contents were carried out in an induction furnace.<br>When the relations between erosion rate and brick properties are examined, it is found that bricks with lower apparent porosity and higher crushing strength have higher erosion-resistance.
