Description
In the fluorescent magnetic powder testing method, bath concentration gives much influence to inspection accuracy. Therefore, an instrument is developed for measuring fluorescent magnetic powder density.<br>This instrument is made based on the principle that weak fluorescence from magnetic powder irradiated by ultraviolet ray can be converted into electric quantity. This instrument showed such a proportional relationship as up to about 0.8g/l of concentration in the case of clear bath and up to about 0.4 to 0.5g/l in the case of dirty bath respectively and its practical performance was also confirmed.
