ブドウ糖とグリシンの溶液はそのモル濃度とpHが同じならば,その胃排出は同様のパターンを示すといわれている.これはosmoreceptorとchemoreceptorが十二指腸に存在するといわれていることから当然了解できると思われる.しかし,それ以外の要因の介入が胃排出に対してあるや否やの一つの試みとして,水試験液によるdouble sampling法を用いて検討した.試験液としては5%ブドウ糖液, 2.1%グリシン液を用いた.対象は健康男子学生15名である.結果は20分後の胃内残存率がブドウ糖液試験で34.6±9.7,グリシン液試験で45.4±15.6であつた. t-testでP<0.05の有意性をもつてグリシン液の胃排出がブドウ糖液のそれより遅いという成績を得た.また両試験液による胃酸分泌効果においては,ブドウ糖による場合の方がやや高いように思われた.
