高齢者の増加に伴い，高齢者肺癌，及び，合併症をもつハイリスク症例に対する癌化学療法を行う機会が増えてきている．高齢者肺癌に対する臨床試験における化学療法レジメン，総合的高齢者機能評価（CGA）,高齢者脆弱性検査（VES-13）等による機能評価，肝腎機能障害等の臓器機能低下例に対する化学療法について概説した．個々の症例について治療前に全身機能評価し，それぞれの患者にふさわしい治療を選択するのが望まれる．
