Diffusion of mercury, thallium and lead in polycrystalline samples of aluminum was studied by conventional electroplating and RI tracer-sectioning techniques. The results obtained from the deeper regions of samples showed the real bulk diffusion. The temperature dependence of diffusion coefficients are expressed as<BR>(This article is not displayable. Experimental values of ΔQ were compared with theoretical ones obtained from the Le Claire’s theory.
