Abstract

Field desorption mass spectra of peptide antibiotics of various kinds are presented. In each case, a M+ or (M+H) + peak of the antibiotics is obtained. Fragmentations available for an analysis of amino acid sequence occure in straight-chain peptide antibiotics.
