抄録

The Mechanism of production of E.C.R plasma_by means of the Lisitanos-Slotted-Coil and the plasma parameters were investigated. It was-found that.the intensity of the electric field outside the slotted coil was quite small as compared to that of the inside.<BR>The electron density and temperature could be changed from 1010/cc to 1012/cc and from 2 ev to 10 eV by controlling the discharge parameters. It was found that if the resonant point was on the slotted coil, the radial density profile was nearly flat.
