抄録

Principle and the present status on the plasma emissive devices such as discharge lamp and plasma display are described.<BR>In resent years, much attention has been paid to photo-induced chemical processes such as deposition and etching of various materials by using a lamp such as a mercury lamp having much vacuum ultraviolet light with high energy photons.<BR>Plasma flat display devices functioning adequately in the man-machine interface have been used for intelligence terminals in data information systems.
