抄録

Poly (tetrahydrofuran) (PTHF) networks were synthesized by end-crosslinking of allyl-terminated PTHF prepolymers having a narrow molecular weight distribution using tetrafunctional crosslinkers. The allyl-terminated PTHF was synthesized by end-capping the living polymer of tetrahydrofuran with allyl alcohol. Molecular orientation behavior and thermal and mechanical properties of the PTHF networks were examined in relation to their structures. The mechanical properties at room temperature were affected by the method to prepare the specimens, since PTHF chains crystallize at room temperature.
