抄録

The Flexual strength of polymer cement mortars (PCM), which were modified with water-soluble polymer admixtures such as methylcellulose (MC), hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), and hydroxyethyl methyl-cellulose (HEMC), was measured for various curing periods (days). When the water-cement ratio (W/C) was 0.65, the strength of PCM at a curing period of 28 days appeared to be lower than that of ordinary Portland cement mortar (OPCM) without polymer admixture. When the W/C ratio was changed to 0.42, the strength of PCM at a curing period of 28 days, as well as the early strength, became higher than those of the OPCM.
