Description
The effects of the annealing on the improvement of high-speed elongation at break and flexural modules of polypropylene (PP) blended with many types of elastomer have been studied. The annealing improves the phase separation. As a result, the crystallinity of PP is increased. Moreover, the strength of the dispersed phase is decreased, the strength of PP is increased, and the volume fraction of the dispersed phase is increased due to the precipitation of PP into the dispersed phase. Therefore, the ductility of PP is improved.
