Description
We prepared palladium-loaded monolithic anion exchange resin (Pd-M) to decompose small amounts of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in ultra pure water. TEM and EPMA data indicated that about 50 nm of palladium particles were loaded uniformly on the surface layer of Pd-M. The H2O2 decomposition rate of Pd-M was about 10 times faster than that of Pd loaded granular type resin. H2O2 concentration in the ultra pure water was decreased with increasing bed depth of Pd-M. There was little leaching of Pd; the level was below 0.5 ng/L.<br>
