Description

PIP2 is considered to be an important material as a precursor of the intra-cellular second messenger DG and IP3. On the other hand, PIP2 itself has several distinctive features which other phospholipids do not have. This report gives the review of the distinctive features of PIP2 and the recent structural information relevant to them obtained by neutron scattering experiments.
