Description
In this thesis, the oxygen permeation of the plastic pipe in hot water heating system was evaluated in order to discuss the influence of the corrosion of steel radiators in the same line. The oxygen permeability rate of the polyethylene bridge pipes, the polybutene pipes, and the polypropylene pipes was 5.9〜15.5mgO/(L・日), and that of the polyethylene bridge pipes with the oxygen interception layer was less than 0.1mgO/(L・日) in the average temperature 40℃. The plastic pipes with the oxygen interception layer were prevented to penetrate the oxygen from air, and were able to be allowed to use for the main pipes and the floor heating pipes in terms of the corrosion protection of the radiators, and it was showed that the plastic pipes with the oxygen interception layer were effective for the corrosion protection of steel radiators.
