Description
A fumigation system that employed ozone gas was used for sterilizing bio-cleanrooms. In this study, the parameters affect it were examined by CFD and measurement in bio-cleanrooms. Air flow distribution had been determined in advance. Thus, the environment in the bio-cleanroom was checked to determine whether ozone gas and water vapor could spread uniformly. Ozone gas concentration, air temperature and relative humidity in the bio-cleanroom were measured, and their values were compared to the results of CFD analysis. Furthermore, the effectiveness of sterilizing the bio-cleanroom was verified by using biological indicators.
