Description
In this paper, we calculated the amount of variable energy consumption in a model office building with simulation tool and compared the influence of the factors such as characteristics of buildings, the using situation of buildings and the situation of equipments with simulation tool of energy consumption rate for office buildings. We confirmed the applicability of the simulation using a model building, based on the comparison between the actual and the estimated rates of energy consumption in four buildings from 2000 to 2004. By the application of the simulation to 65 buildings in Hiroshima City, it was presumed that it is possible to save more than 5% of energy consumption in all cases and to save 20%〜30% in many cases.
