説明

Time study of the sea-side school life was carried out on the middle school boys and girls. Their energy consumption per day was also estimated from the timestudy and the relative metabolic rate of each activity.<br>Results obtained showed that their energy consumption per day amounted to 2809 Cal. for the boy and 2759 for the girl, which exceed the standard value of calorie requirement for Japanese by more than ten per cent.
