抄録

Polyurethane elastomer (PUE) was prepared from norbornanediisocyanate(NBDI)and poly (oxytetramethylene) glycol (PTMG), and the glass transition temperature (Tg) by DSC and the temperature dependence of viscoelasticity were compared with those of PUEs using isophorone diisocyanate (IPDI) and 4, 4'-methylene bis (cyclohexyl isocyanate) (HMDI). Tg of PUE prepared from NBDI and PTMG (number average molecular weight, 1000) was-49°C, it was 8°C lower than that of IPDI possessing superior low temperature characterisitics. Additionally, in elevated temperature, storage modulus (E') of the PUE with NBDI decreased slowly at rubbery flow region and was kept at higher temperature than that of HMDI and IPDI, and the rubbery plateau was kept constant at the wide temperature region.
