Improvement of solubility of anti-aging agent in natural rubber is an important problem for securing the best effect of anti-aging agent.<br>About 12 commercial brands of anti-aging agents were mixed and milled with natural rubber (pale crepe) at 50°C into films with the mixed ratio of 10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1, 0.5, 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, 0.1, and 0.05PHR. These films were pressed 20 minutes with such a force as not to break the glass; and left at room temperature for 24 hours, after which they were observed under the microscope (X15).<br>The results indicate that the solubility to natural rubber considerably differs depending on the antiaging agent adopted. Vulcanized rubber, whose reaction to vulcanization, etc. deffers from that of unvalcanized one, should be dealt with separately.
