抄録

At blending of NR and SBR, the rate of change in plasticity of rubber during blending, and the relation between roll-gap and the discharge velocity of rubber, etc. were disclosed and study was made on the change in the shearing force.<br>Mooney viscosity is reduced during blending of NR and SBR. In the case of milling of individual rubber the following relations exist.<br>log M=A-Bn<br>wherein n is the number of milling and M is Mooney value<br>M=a+b log L<br>wherein L is the gap between the rolls<br>log D=k log L+log C<br>wherein D is the rate of discharge, c and k are constant.<br>It was further found that Mooney value and Mooney quarter-value period are approximately proportional.
