Abstract

The behaviors of fillers such as clay and calcium carbonate to NR-SBR blend in the various ratio were studied for the physical properties of uncured stocks and vulcanizates. As the results, it was found that the remarkable increase of Mooney value was caused by the increasing of the amount of fillers more than 100 PHR. And the tensile strength showed a maximum point at a certain amount of fillers. These maximum points were found to shift to the position corresponding to the higher amount of fillers as the proportion of SBR in NR-SBR blends increased.
