Image quality of CCD camera has been evaluated by a number of pixels. Image quality of CCD camera, however, is dependent on many factors such as structure and array of CCD, interpolation method, images processing, printer characteristics and so on. In this study, image quality of two kinds of CCD camera with conventional interline and honeycomb structure and array was analyzed by computer simulation. From the observer rating experiment, it was shown that the image quality of CCD camera with honeycomb structure is correspondent approximately 1.3 times to pixel numbers of conventional interline CCD.
