Description
FUJIFILM Corporation has developed the near-infrared reflective film using silver nano disks. We estimated the best shape and arrangement of silver nano disks which reflect near-infrared rays by simulation. In order to form the silver nano disks, we applied the technology to form silver halide tabular grains used in photographic film. Further, we developed the coating technology to make uniform mono layer of silver nano disks that can reflect near-infrared rays effectively.
