Description
The experiments of the present report consist of two steps. One is to find the solvents in which microcrystals of AgCl bounded by [100], [110] and [111] surfaces are grown by evaporation method, the other is to produce epitaxially the microcrystals of AgCl from the solvents selected in the preceding step on thin sheet crystals of AgBr, and to study the forms of the epitaxially grown microcrystals of AgCl by both optical and scanning electron microscopes.
